He has been a teacher for DNB & ID CCM students. As a resource person, he contributed chapters in books – ICU Protocol, Critical Care Updates and Textbook of Anaesthesiology. He was the Chairman for Criticare 2010 and South Zone ISCCM 2017. He was awarded the Best Teacher by ISCCM, Hyderabad in 2014. Dr Roop Kishen, MD, FRCA, did his graduation from CMC, Vellore, and post-graduation from PGI, Chandigarh. He retired as Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine & Anaesthesia, Hope Hospital & Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester, UK. His field of interest is Critical Care with a penchant for acid base disorders in critically ill. He is a passionate teacher and researcher.
