He retired as Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine & Anaesthesia, Hope Hospital & Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester, UK. His field of interest is Critical Care with a penchant for acid base disorders in critically ill. He is a passionate teacher and researcher.
