He has bagged 3 best paper awards in conferences besides being recipient of BC Roy Student Fellowship. The Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists has awarded him for Academic Excellence in 2008. Oman Medical Specialty Board has judged the author as the Best Teacher/Trainer of Anesthesia Resident Training Program four times. He has received the Best Anesthesia Achievement Award of Khoula Hospital, Muscat in 2019. Dr Rashid M Khan has to his credit 186 published papers, over 75% of them being airway management.
